Scott Mayfield quickly dishes to Matt Martin at the doorstep, where he deflects it into the net to give the Islanders a 2-1 lead:

Alex Ovechkin heads to the front of the net and redirects Brenden Dillon’s shot into the twine, notching his second goal of the game:

Brock Nelson picks up the loose puck, races in on a breakaway and snaps it past Braden Holtby to quickly restore the Islanders’ lead:
