The Rochester Americans won against the Binghamton Senators by a score of 6-5 in a shootout. The Amerks had several different scorers including T.J Brennan and Luke Adam. Goaltender David Leggio had 34 saves in the high scoring affair.

Including the Dec 21st game vs Binghamton, the Amerks are 3-2 in their last 5 games. Despite being 13th in the conference with 29 points, they are only 3 points back of 6th place Houston Aeros with a game in hand. If the Amerks plan on being a playoff team, they need to be more consistent and start winning some more games.

Rochester will be hosting a game in Buffalo on December 28th vs the Lake Erie Monsters. Game is slated to start at 7:05. This will be the 2nd game Rochester plays in Buffalo this season. They previously defeated the Hamilton Bulldogs 3-1 on October 23.
