Columbus to Host 2015 NHL All-Star Game

On Saturday night the sold-out crowd in Columbus was in an uproar when Commissioner Gary Bettman officially announced that the 2015 NHL All-Star Game would be held in Columbus.

The city was promised the 60th All-Star Game which was supposed to take place last season but the lockout led to the event being canceled. The showcase has been rescheduled for next season.

The event which displays some of the best talent in the league every season (outside of Olympic years or lockout seasons) is scheduled for January 24 and 25, 2015. The weekend will include the Skills Competition and the All-Star Game. The complete details of the event have yet to be released. NHL All-Star weekends are always filled with events that tailor to the fans of all ages and Columbus is honored to host the event.

Your humble writer has been to every one of the contiguous states and I’ve visited many cities across this country. In my opinion, Columbus is one of the friendliest and most welcoming cities I have visited. If the desire to attend an All-Star Game has always been something you wished to do then I would recommend that you consider making plans to attend this one.

When further details are released we’ll include a guide to help you plan your trip.
