Ovi strides back to normal self, Subban Drama Continues….

Is Ovechkin back to his normal self? Lets have the numbers speak for him. In his last 7 games, Ovechkin has scored 7 goals, piled up 4 assists, and has been averaging roughly 20 minutes of ice time. The Capitals are on a current 4 game winning streak and with the return of Defenseman, Mike Green, the Capitals are once more playoff bound.

While on the other side of the spectrum is the Drama of Montreal Defenseman P.K. Subban. Don’t get me wrong, I think Subban is a talenteled D-man but it just hasn’t been the case as of late. Subban’s play has been mediocre at best which lead to a healthy scratch roughly a week ago. Subban can be an elite Defenseman and Montreal needs great defense if they expect to make any type of run at a playoff spot. However Subban has hit a new low, fighting his own teammates during practice………

I grew up playing Ball and Roller Hockey day and night somewhat religiously throughout elementary and middle school. The two don't compare though when I lace up the skates and hit the ice. I live and breathe hockey beyond the perspective of "it's just a game" and I will gladly talk hockey for hours with anyone. Hockey is more than just a lifestyle, it's a culture of passionate people who make memories every time the puck is dropped. Hockey has not only helped me get through some of the hardest times in life but has created some of the best memories to date. Want to talk hockey with me? Shoot me an email: iburdetskiy@hookedonhockey.com and let's talk some hockey!
