The Toronto Maple Leafs have announced some sad news; Ken Girard has passed away at the age of 86.
We are saddened to learn of the passing of Toronto native, Ken Girard.

Girard played right wing for the Toronto Marlboros from 1954 to 1957.
He won the Memorial Cup twice, in 1955 and 1956.
Ken played seven games for the Toronto Maple Leafs before being traded to the American League at the age of 19. His hockey career took him to the San Francisco Seals before he retired at the age of 23.
