IFC Channel to Feature Beer League Hockey TV Show Called BENDERS

Just in time for October and a full week before the 2015-16 NHL Season gets underway, IFC is bringing a hockey sitcom TV Show to their viewers. The show will be called BENDERS which in-itself is an easy enough giveaway of what the show will consist of. Anyone whom has played any type of recreational hockey knows just what kind of shenanigans take place throughout a season.

IMDb describes BENDERS plot as, “Follows a team of friends bonded by an irrational obsession with their men’s hockey team, The Chubbys. While their hockey skills may be limited, their passion is not, as shown by the chaos of their devotion to the game created in their everyday lives.”

The show will premier October 1st at 10pm EST on IFC and is slotted to be 30 minutes with eight episodes for the first season.
