Nick Suzuki doubled the Habs lead on his first career NHL postseason goal a little less than halfway into the second period:

 

Crosby would answer only a few short minutes later to get the Pens on the scoreboard:

 

And then with all the momentum for the Pens, Bryan Rust knots it up at two a-piece only 3 minutes later in the second period:

 

Jeff Petry scored in overtime giving the Canadiens a 3-2 victory in game one and the series lead:
