St. Louis Blues Sign Robby Fabbri To Three Year Entry Level Contract

After the St. Louis Blues picked Robby Fabbri in the first round of the 2014 NHL Draft, they watched Fabbri excel in his first few weeks of the Blues’ Development Camp.

Now, the Blues have agreed to a three-year, two-way entry level contract for Fabbri.  The 5 foot 10 and 165 pound forward is one of several new players on the roster St Louis will use to enhance their center.  Robby Fabbri was also named the Hardest Working Player in the 2014 OHL Top Prospects game.  His finesse on the ice is already at a higher level and his ability to read plays is strong.

As the club has shown over the last few months, they are willing to cut ties and add new players to make the Blues the team to beat this season.  Ty Rattie and Dmitrij Jaskin are two other hopeful prospects for the 2014-2015 Season.  Jaskin appeared in 18 NHL games last season, using his physical style of playing to support the Blues offense.  He’s working with the coaches to improve his skating and learn a few new tricks.  As for Ty, he tied for fourth in goals with the AHL.  His skills are there and the Blues coaches have worked with him over the summer to improve his consistency.

With the season start in only a few short weeks and the progress these players have made, it would not be a surprise to see a few new jerseys on the ice this season.

I was born and raised in St. Louis. My family loves hockey. Let's Go Blues!!!! I write novels in my spare time; and any time I have the cash to travel, I will. Soccer is my other favorite sport. I lived in New York City for a minute-it was awesome. I need coffee to survive, but no, seriously. And a last fun fact: I am the worst ice skater, ever; but I still like to try!
