Before this game even started there was breaking news of Boston Bruins netminder Tuukka Rask opting out from the playoffs for the rest of the way.

Thus Jaroslav Halak would take over as the Bruins’ starter moving forward.

Charlie Coyle bats the loose puck out of the air and beats Petr Mrazek on the power play, giving the Bruins a 1-0 lead in the 2nd:

Sean Kuraly deflects home Charlie Coyles shot for a shorthanded goal, extending the Bruins lead to 2-0 in the 3rd period:

Bruins goalie Jaroslav Halak attempts to clear the puck, but Nino Niederreiter steals the puck and scores, making the score 2-1 Bruins:

Brad Marchand ices the game with a late empty netter for the Bruins:

3-1 Final, the Boston Bruins have retaken the series lead 2-1.
