Jesperi Kotkaniemi absolutely LOSES IT following Game 3 and nearly injures fellow teammate

With a valiant shutout effort in Game 3, Sergei Bobrovsky gave the Florida Panthers a 3-0 lead in the Eastern Conference Final. The Carolina Hurricanes outshot the Panthers 32-17, but Bobrovsky still managed to make 32 saves. Bobrovsky simply keeps racking up impressive victories in the postseason. The Stanley Cup Final is now just one victory away for the Panthers!

The Russian goalkeeper made some excellent saves this evening:

But it wasn’t all good news for the Cats; late in the first period, Aleksander Barkov went down with what appeared to be an arm or hand injury.

There is yet no official word on Barkov’s condition or injury.

Speaking of injuries, Hurricanes forward Jesperi Kotkaniemi had a lot of luck not to hurt any of his own teammates after having an outburst while walking to the dressing room in the arena.

I grew up playing Ball and Roller Hockey day and night somewhat religiously throughout elementary and middle school. The two don't compare though when I lace up the skates and hit the ice. I live and breathe hockey beyond the perspective of "it's just a game" and I will gladly talk hockey for hours with anyone. Hockey is more than just a lifestyle, it's a culture of passionate people who make memories every time the puck is dropped. Hockey has not only helped me get through some of the hardest times in life but has created some of the best memories to date. Want to talk hockey with me? Shoot me an email: iburdetskiy@hookedonhockey.com and let's talk some hockey!
