The Montreal Canadiens will host the 2022 NHL Draft, according to Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman.
Montreal was selected to host the event in 2020, but the draft was held virtually instead due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This will be the first in-person draft to be held in Montreal since 2009 and the 28th time the event for future prospects will be hosted in the city.
The 2021 NHL Draft is scheduled for July 23 and 24. The event will be held virtually for the second year in a row.
