Boston BruinsFeaturedNational Hockey League (NHL)

YOU GOTTA SEE THIS: Charlie Coyle bats a rebound out of mid-air to open the scoring in Game 3!

At least one team in Boston is playing some good baseball and it certainly isn’t the Red Sox.

Earlier today news broke that Tuukka Rask had opted out for the remainder of the playoffs.

It was shocking news coming out a few short hours before puck drop in Game 3 of a tied series between the Boston Bruins and Carolina Hurricanes.

With Jaroslav Halak taking over in net, the Bruins set their eye to try and get ahead in the series. Charlie Coyle helped open up the lead and give the Bruins that jolt they needed with a beautiful mid-air goal:

Well that certainly will get the Bruins off on the right skate for Game 3!

I grew up playing Ball and Roller Hockey day and night somewhat religiously throughout elementary and middle school. The two don't compare though when I lace up the skates and hit the ice. I live and breathe hockey beyond the perspective of "it's just a game" and I will gladly talk hockey for hours with anyone. Hockey is more than just a lifestyle, it's a culture of passionate people who make memories every time the puck is dropped. Hockey has not only helped me get through some of the hardest times in life but has created some of the best memories to date. Want to talk hockey with me? Shoot me an email: iburdetskiy@hookedonhockey.com and let's talk some hockey!
