Jonathan Huberdeau will play for Team Canada at the 2022 Ball Hockey World Championships

Florida Panthers forward Jonathan Huberdeau will be representing Canada at the World Ball Hockey Championship.

The Panthers gave him permission to represent the Canadian Team. He agreed with his training that if the players play dangerously at his expense, he will withdraw himself from the tournament.

Georges Laraque, who takes part in the celebrity game on Sunday, has already participated in a Ball Hockey championship when he wore the colors of the Edmonton Oilers.

The tournament begins June 21, with the Canadians taking on the United States at 5 p.m., with the men’s squad in action at 7:30 p.m.

The Championship is organized by Hockey Balle Québec and several tickets are still available for the event.

I grew up playing Ball and Roller Hockey day and night somewhat religiously throughout elementary and middle school. The two don't compare though when I lace up the skates and hit the ice. I live and breathe hockey beyond the perspective of "it's just a game" and I will gladly talk hockey for hours with anyone. Hockey is more than just a lifestyle, it's a culture of passionate people who make memories every time the puck is dropped. Hockey has not only helped me get through some of the hardest times in life but has created some of the best memories to date. Want to talk hockey with me? Shoot me an email: iburdetskiy@hookedonhockey.com and let's talk some hockey!
