Cory Schneider Named An All-Star

On January 6, the NHL announced their All-Star lineup, following the announcement that John Scott would captain the Pacific Division team.

The All-Star game has taken some flack over the years (understandably so), but it shows no signs of stopping. It brought a bright note to the Devils, though, as the roster announcement included game-saving goaltender Cory Schneider.

In 36 games, Schneider has posted an 18-13-5 record, and racked up a commendable 2.09 GAA and a .926 save percentage. This year has been Schneider’s year to prove that he is among the elite goalies in the NHL, and he is taking no prisoners. Check out some of his best saves this season below:

The 2016 Honda NHL All-Star celebration (the name even sounds like a marketing gimmick), takes place on January 30th and 31st at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.
